MATCH SUMMARY - WORCESTER WARRIORS 43-27 Bath Rugby
Bath Rugby’s 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership season ended in defeat at Worcester Warriors.
Will Muir’s double and a Will Stuart try had the Blue, Black and White ahead at half-time and Tom Dunn got the bonus-point score after the break.
However, a rampant Warriors hit back in the second half to secure victory.
Newcastle Falcons’ try bonus against Northampton Saints means Bath finish in 13th place.

First half
The Warriors started with real grunt up front and after a number of phases and penalties, Kyle Hatherell burrowed in for the game’s opener.
Bath dominated at scrum time and had success in the maul too, which led to Muir coasting home for what would have been Bath’s first of the afternoon if not for a forward pass.
The wing didn’t have to wait long before he crossed the whitewash legitimately. With the forwards providing the platform, Orlando Bailey’s lovely left-footed crosskick bounced nicely for Muir to dot down.
A second soon followed for the Horse. This time it was pure power from the left that saw him gallop across the line – his 10th try of the campaign and 17th for the club in total.
Fin Smith then kicked a penalty for Worcester before Jonathan Joseph’s cute pass sent Stuart over on smart line.
Second half
Worcester scored the first points of the second half through scrum-half Gareth Simpson following a field-length break.
Bailey nudged a penalty for Bath and the visitors earned a try bonus when Dunn snuck into the corner.
But the game turned on its head in the space of three minutes as Jamie Shillcock crossed twice for the hosts.
Ewan Richards had a try disallowed, an incident which saw Charlie Ewels sin binned, and thereafter Joe Batley and Shillcock completed the 43-27 scoreline.
