Bath Rugby is among the three biggest clubs in the West Country participating in an exciting round-robin competition to kick off the 2015/16 season.
With the new Premiership season delayed by Rugby World Cup 2015, supporters will be able to witness a brilliant display of club rugby as Bath vie for bragging rights with Exeter Chiefs and Gloucester Rugby in a series of thrilling local derbies.
"The Aviva Premiership commences on 17th October 2015, creating a six-week window for games in September and the first half of October," said Tarquin McDonald, Managing Director of Bath Rugby. "We are using this opportunity to play a cup competition comprising derby matches against two great local rivals, which we think is exciting for our supporters and great for the players in advance of the Premiership season commencing."
Precise details of the competition layout will be released soon.
