Bath Rugby summer signing Alex Davies talks about what he thinks he will bring to the team this season, as well as answer some of your questions.
Firstly from Carenza Clifford on Twitter, what are you most looking to about playing in the Blue, Black and White?
Playing at the Rec. It's one of my favourite grounds in the Premiership and the whole city looks down at the Rec. It's a good, knowledgeable crowd here so I'm looking forward to running out onto the pitch and getting stuck in to my first game.
How have you settled into the squad so far?
Yeah it's been good so far. I came here on the 14th June and me and some of the other boys stayed for an extra week to familiarise ourselves with the facilities. I feel I've settled in well and can't wait to get going.
A question from Lewis Tavener on Twitter, it's early days but who in the squad has impressed you so far?
Kahn Fotuali'i has impressed me a lot. His skillset is pretty high and I do enjoy watching him do his thing.
We tried to dig some dirt from you from Max Green, who played alongside you at Yorkshire Carnegie, but he came unstuck! So is he scared of you? Or are you just that clean-cut?
Bit of both to be honest. I helped Max a lot up at Leeds so I think he's just done me a favour with that one.
Prior to joining the Club, who were you most excited to be playing alongside?
There's a host of internationals here and I could list five or six players. Toby Faletau is an unbelievable athlete and rarely makes a mistake. Then there's Jamie Roberts, Rhys (Priestland), Freddie (Burns) the list goes on and on. I'm really excited to play in the shirt and contribute as much as I can.
Obviously you can play fly-half and scrum-half. What do you think you can offer to the team?
Yeah I think I can bring some variety. I can play both positions and goal kick as well. I can bring a bit of versatility and play with a lot of energy so hopefully I can bring some tempo to the game. I play on emotion quite a lot so I'm hoping to bring that into the team as well.
