Bath Rugby is pleased to welcome leading Argentine wine brand Viñalba as its first ever Official Wine Partner.
Produced by award-winning winery Bodegas Fabre, Viñalba was launched in the UK in 2007 with Buckingham Schenk. Since then, it has won over 300 medals in major wine competitions and is sold in eight countries worldwide.
The partnership will see the internationally renowned brand stocked at The Rec at all Bath Rugby home matches as well as other official club events.
Viñalba will also feature on the back of all Bath Rugby playing shirts, on advertising boards pitchside at The Rec and in the digital programme.
Craig Durham, Managing Director of Viñalba importer Buckingham Schenk, said: “As our first ever high-profile partnership for Viñalba, I couldn’t be more pleased for us to become the first ever Official Wine Partner of Bath Rugby. The synergies between Viñalba and Bath Rugby are plain to see and I cannot wait to start working with them for the 2023/2024 season onward."
Viñalba owner and Head Winemaker, Herve Joyaux Fabre, commented: “We are delighted to become the first Official Wine Partner of such an iconic club as Bath Rugby. Their heritage, dedicated fan base, love for their supporters and their plans for the future completely align with what we are trying to achieve with Viñalba.”
Bath Rugby Head of Business Development, Tom Giles, added: “We are delighted to welcome Viñalba as the club’s first Official Wine Partner. Aligning with our values and ambition, Viñalba are committed to build a long-term partnership with the club.
“Viñalba’s award-winning wine will be available to all fans at home matchdays at The Rec and events at Farleigh House, which also includes our first co-branded bottle of Malbec for supporters to enjoy.
“We look forward to working together throughout the partnership.”
