University of Bath RFC came away with a comprehensive 53-17 victory over University of Cardiff on Wednesday evening. The victory takes them to third in the BUCS Super Rugby League table.
A first half try from Hugo Stiles, and second half tries from Chris Barry, Wil Partington, Ethan Hutt, Jack Kenningham and a double from Tom Doughty guided the side to victory.
With just a point separating the sides going into the interval, University of Bath picked up the gears in the second half, with outstanding moments in both attack and defence.
A dominant set piece gave the University of Bath the attacking edge, which saw them control the second 40 minutes to secure their ninth win of the season.
Next Friday they will travel to Kingston Park to face Northumbria University who currently sit in fifth place in the BUSC Super Rugby League table.
