The University of Bath are back in action this afternoon as they travel to Llanrumey Playing Fields to face University of Cardiff. There is a strong Bath Rugby contingent in the squad, with seven senior Academy players involved.
Bath Rugby’s Kieran Verden and Arthur Cordwell line-up either side of captain and Club teammate Tom Doughty in the front row. Angus Hinton and Adam Thresher form the lock paining. Bath Rugby’s Rhys Davies makes his first start of the season at blindside flanker, with the back rower returning from injury. Chris Barry comes in at openside with Jack Kenningham completing the pack at number eight.
Edward Rimmer and Alex Burrage form a half back pairing, whilst Will Butt starts at inside centre. Alex Nesbitt starts outside the Bath Rugby Academy player. Hugo Stiles and Finn Murphy occupy the left and right wing respectively, with Bath Rugby’s Wil Partington completing the back-line at full-back.
Bath Rugby’s Ethan Hutt is also included in the squad, as the back looks to make an impact off the bench.
