Two Bath Rugby Academy players have experienced an England Under-20s camp this week.
Sam Harris and Mackenzie Graham were both selected following strong performances for Team Bath in BUCS Super Rugby.
A third Academy player in Abdul-Khalik Akenzua Al Kareem was originally picked but unfortunately had to withdraw due to injury.
Academy Pathway Coach Nathan Catt has also joined the Under-20s for this season as an Attack Coach.
Head of Academy Craig Lilley said: “It is fantastic recognition for these players after a strong start to the season and these camps will offer a different challenge which is key for their development.
“It is also important to remember that the pathway is in place to optimise the development of both players and coaches. To have Nathan gaining knowledge from these camps will add huge benefit to his craft as well as bringing different ideas he experiences back to our Academy environment.
“To have eight players involved across the Under-18 and Under-20 camps is a huge testament to the work that has gone on behind the scenes from our Academy staff. Something we talk about a lot is how we maximise the individual within a team sport. These opportunities will provide our players with further context and insight of where they can further improve by training with the best players in their age grade.”
