Tighthead prop Shaun Knight has joined Bath Rugby on loan until the end of the season, the Club can confirm.
26-year-old Knight joins from Newport Gwent Dragons, where he made over 20 appearances in the Pro 12 last season. Prior to that, he had made nearly 80 appearances for Gloucester Rugby, following in his father’s footsteps in pulling on the Cherry and White shirt.
Earlier in his career, he was a member of England’s Junior World Cup squad in 2009 and 2010, and experienced playing in the Southern Hemisphere with New Zealand’s Counties Manukau as part of their ITM Cup squad.
First Team Coach, Toby Booth, said: “Shaun is a very strong scrummager, and we’re excited to see how he continues to develop now that he’s with us. We’ve got some very good props within the squad, and Shaun adds to that strength in depth and competition for places.”
