Three things not to miss at the Rec

22 February 2018

Bath Rugby are back in action at the Rec this Saturday, as Sale Sharks visit the West Country for a full day of rugby action on both the domestic and international scene. Here are three things to keep an eye out for his weekend…

1) BATH RUGBY FOUNDATION SEASON TICKET RAFFLE

How would you like a pair of Bath Rugby season tickets for just £10? Bath Rugby Foundation has launched a competition for supporters to win two pairs of Silver season tickets at the Rec. Raffle tickets will be sold for £10 per ticket, with all proceeds going to Bath Rugby Foundation, the charitable arm of Bath Rugby. Visit the Foundation team at their gazebo on the outfield to find out more or to purchase your raffle ticket.

2) BBC Half-time kicking challenge

Alex Lovell and David Garmston will be joined by BBC Somerset’s Claire Carter, BBC Wiltshire’s Ben Prater, and Geoff Twentyman from Radio Bristol to take on our infamous cross-bar challenge in support of Sport Relief. Stay in your seats after the first half whistle is blown to get behind the dynamic duo as they put their best foot forward and their kicking skills to the test in support of this great cause.

3) SCOTLAND v ENGLAND

After the final whistle has blown, join us in the Swift Half or Clubhouse to cheer on Bath Rugby’s England contingent as they take on Scotland in the NatWest Six Nations, kick-off 16:45. Anthony Watson and Jonathan Joseph have been named in the starting line-up, with Sam Underhill named among the replacements for the clash at Murrayfield.
