Three things not to miss at the last home match of the season

4 May 2018

With top flight European Rugby within reach, the buzz of last week’s emphatic win at Kingsholm still ringing through the air, and a packed out Recreation Ground getting behind the team, what happens on the pitch is surely not to be missed. Join us from 14:00 when gates open to take advantage of all the great activities taking place this matchday. Here are our three things not to miss on Saturday:

STH Q&A

The final matchday Season Ticket Holder Q&A of the season will take place inside the Season Ticket Holder marquee on the outfield from 15:00. Bath Rugby CEO, Tarquin McDonald, will be joined by British & Irish Lion Anthony Watson and Andy Rock, Bath Rugby Academy Manager, to answer your questions on everything Blue, Black and White.

Family fun

Warm up your waving arm! Thousands of Bath Rugby flags will be placed into the stands to bring the stadium to life with a flurry of colour. A facepainter will also be roaming the ground with Maximus ready to add some Blue, Black and White to your match attire. On the outfield you’ll find an inflatable gladiator joust and giant slide, alongside a player signing marquee where you can pick up a free squad poster to get signed by your favourite Bath Rugby players. After the final whistle the entertainment continues with supporter favourites The Payoff performing a live set on the outdoor stage by the Swift Half.

Bath Rugby 7s Club Championship in association with Dyson

Ahead of the final home game of the regular Aviva Premiership season against London Irish, eight local U14 teams will follow in the footsteps of Salisbury RFC, who were crowned winners in 2017.
