Returning to The Rec and joining the Swift Half for Happy Hour this week is ex-Bath captain Michael Lipman. If you see him around, please give him a warm welcome back to Bath! Michael will also join our half-time slot where he'll talk about his time at the club and the release of his new book Concussion.

Ed Slater talks to other Gloucester players during training

Raffle in Joint aid of Ed Slater, the 4ED campaign and Bath Rugby Foundation

In July 2022, Gloucester Rugby player Ed Slater announced he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at the young age of 34; the same disease as the likes of former British & Irish Lion Doddie Weir and Rugby League legend Rob Burrow.

The 4Ed campaign has been created to raise awareness and funds in support of Ed and his family as he battles the disease.

To support Ed’s cause, as well as raise funds for our own charity Bath Rugby Foundation which supports vulnerable children and young people across B&NES, we will be selling raffle tickets with some luxury prizes to be won.

Tickets are £2 each or three for £5 and will be sold pre and post-match in the Swift Half, around the fan village and dotted around the hospitality suite. The prizes will be:

  • An overnight stay for two at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa
  • An invitation to the President's Lounge on a matchday
  • A Bath Rugby jersey signed by the whole team

The winning tickets will be drawn after the game with the winning numbers posted on our website and social channels.

Cotton 2022/23 jersey range now available!

We’re very happy to announce our cotton jerseys are now available! Get yours from our Argyle Street store today or from one of our pop-up stands in and around the ground on Saturday.

Our new 2022/23 training wear is also available to purchase.

Matchday ambassadors

Are you a regular at The Rec? Do you want to connect more with your fellow supporters? We’re taking on Matchday Ambassadors to support the running of matchday and help fans, both home and away, make the most of their matchday experience. Just simply send us an email if you'd like to volunteer!

Face painting

Are you bringing your juniors to the game? Or fancy sporting the Blue, Black and White stripes? Come down to our face painter in the fan village and show your colours! Whether you’re a Bath fan or a visitor wanting to wear the cherry and white, our face painter can sort you out.

Fan radio

If you want to tune into Tom Foley as he liaises with his assistant referees, pick up a fan radio from the ticket office or retail outlets. Our fan radios can be used for every game and allow you to follow referee decisions as they happen.

Live music

For pre-match entertainment this week, we’ll be joined by the Orchestra of Everything, a Bath-based community orchestra with musicians of all ages and abilities, bringing you renditions of your favourite songs. Post-match, some members of the orchestra will perform in their own band Magpie and continue the party.

Food & beverage

We like to make sure you’re well-fed and hydrated on matchday, which is why we always have a wide selection of food and beverage vendors ready to serve you and your appetite. Here’s what you’ll find in our fan village:

Remember, if you’re a Season Ticket Holder or a Club Member you get 10% off at all ground bars!

Bath Rugby Supporters’ Club has been running for 25 years and is always looking for new members. Run by fans, if you want to become a part of the club, find the BRSC team and their gazebo between the President’s Lounge and the William Street gate entrance.

Travel disruption

Due to the planned industrial action on rail services across the country, we advise you to plan your journeys ahead. Take advantage of our partnership with Centurion Travel and get your transport sorted today! The coaches operate over three different journeys, covering much of the B&NES area, getting you to and from the game without the stress of parking or city centre traffic.

We look forward to welcoming you back to The Rec for another game day - see you Saturday!
