Dunn to make 150th Bath Rugby appearance v Wasps

23 April 2021

Tom Dunn will make his 150th Bath Rugby appearance when he runs out against Wasps in the Gallagher Premiership on Sunday.

Joining the club in his teens, the hooker made his Bath debut in Europe in 2012 and has since become a fan favourite for his effort, skill and determination on and off the field with the aim of improving for his teammates and the jersey.

His performances in Blue, Black and White have seen him earn international honours with England and his latest milestone will come at the Ricoh Arena.

“Tom is 100% committed to who is next to him… to his teammates,” Director of Rugby Stuart Hooper said.

“He is an absolute diamond example of someone who had a dream, has a dream and has chased it as hard as he possibly can and will continue to chase it as hard as he possibly can.

“We are delighted he will make his 150th Bath appearance this weekend.”

Dunn is one of five changes to the side that secured a last-gasp victory over Leicester Tigers last time out.

Will Chudley and Orlando Bailey form a new half-back partnership in an otherwise unchanged backline.

Loosehead prop Juan Schoeman comes into the front row alongside England duo Dunn and Will Stuart while Miles Reid, who scored his first ever Bath try last weekend, is selected at blindside flanker.

Elliott Stooke, Josh Bayliss and Max Clark are fresh faces in the 23 and are named among the replacements.
