TEAM NEWS: United squad to face Saracens Storm

29 September 2014

Bath United have included Matt Banahan in their side to face Saracens Storm tonight at the Rec (k.o. 19.30, entry free). It is their second defence of the Aviva A League title this season following their 24-8 win against Harlequins a fortnight ago.

Banahan, returning after an injury suffered in victory against Leicester Tigers, starts on the right wing, opposite number eleven George Wacokecoke. Full back Rich Lane completes the back three.

Scrum-half Micky Young and fly-half Ollie Devoto will be playing from an exciting forward pack. Nathan Catt, Ross Batty and Kane Palma-Newport. Charlie Ewels takes the Captain’s armband for the second time this season, partnered by Tom Ellis in the second row.

Blindside David Sisi makes his first appearance of the season in Bath colours – following a hand injury suffered in pre-season – with Max Northcote-Green and Tom Woolstencroft at openside and number eight respectively.
