Team news for Bath United's live streamed match against Harlequins A

23 April 2021

Bath United host Harlequins A in a friendly at the Rec this afternoon (3pm kick-off), a match that will be live streamed at bathrugby.com.

A similar squad to that who recorded a 36-19 win over Gloucester will take to the field meaning there is a nice blend of youth and experience.

With Will Butt returning to his loan destination of Coventry, Semesa Rokoduguni comes in at full-back with Gabriel Hamer-Webb switching to the wing.

The rest of the backline is unchanged allowing Max Wright and Max Ojomoh the opportunity to continue their midfield partnership. Ollie Fox and George Worboys remain at scrum-half and fly-half respectively while Gabe Goss is on the wing.

In the forwards, hat-trick man last time out Tom Doughty also returns to Coventry so John Stewart – a try scorer against Gloucester – starts at hooker.

Kieran Verden is promoted from the bench to tighthead and Ewan Richards moves from Number 8 to lock with Will Spencer.

Tom Ellis’ next step on his return from injury is a place on the flank and he captains the side from the back row alongside Academy duo Ethan Staddon and Nahum Merigan.
