After the success of the third annual Bath Rugby Foundation Superstars competition, we are delighted to confirm the total raised from our 2015 challenge was a record £12,000.
The sixteen teams took up the Superstars challenge to raise money for Bath Rugby Foundation with the final sum being double previous years' attempts. The two teams from BMT (Hi Q Sigma and Beasts) were joint highest fundraisers, raising a fantastic £833.00 each and winning a tour of Farleigh House and a lunch.
The funds raised from this year's event will go towards the delivery of an Inclusion Fun Day in the summer of 2015. The Inclusion Fun Day is an annual event run by Bath Rugby Foundation, specifically designed for children with disabilities from local special schools.
The whole Foundation team would like to thank our fantastic teams (1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment, Thrings, Rygor, Savills, Centurion Wealth Management, BMT, Dyson, Roger Lewis Furniture, Alide Hire Services and Silcox Wicks & Sons), Superstars and supporters for their commitment to the event itself and the fantastic fundraising efforts.
We'll see you all again next year!
