Bath Rugby are pleased to announce a full schedule of Community summer coaching camps, available to book now.
In light of the new RFU and Government guidance, the Club has worked tirelessly to develop a model that enables summer coaching camps to be delivered safely for all participants and staff.
Each camp will strictly adhere to all current advice and thorough measures will be put in place to ensure the safety of all. The coaching will be delivered in small groups of five, who will form a small group throughout the duration of the camp. Due to the smaller numbers permitted at each camp, we strongly advise booking soon as the demand is exceptionally high.
A Covid-19 risk assessment has been created and signed off, whilst all parents/guardians who book will also receive our comprehensive Operational Policy outlining all measures to keep their children safe.
Prior to each camp, a parent/guardian will be required to fill out a health declaration on behalf of the participant confirming they are showing no current flu-like symptoms. The drop-off and collection process will take longer than usual with social distancing measures in place, with all information included within the Operational Policy.
With a reduced lack of physical contact and possible games, the camps will be largely focused on spatial awareness drills, specific rugby skills and game management. However, we have split the age groups for each camp to ensure the coaching provided is applicable to where you are in your rugby journey. We welcome children of all levels to join us, as there has never been a better time to get out and start something new.
Residential Camps Cancelled
Unfortunately, we are sad to announce the residential camps scheduled in August have been cancelled. The organisation and potential risk proved far too complex to progress, with both Bournemouth Collegiate School and Warminster School agreeing with our decision. If you had purchased a place on any of our three residential camps, you will receive a full refund and we will be in touch. These camps have been extremely popular over the past few years and we are excited to start organising 2021 residential calendar.
