Six Bath Rugby players included in England U18 Development Camp

11 February 2019

Bath Rugby's Orlando Bailey, Xavier Hastings, Nahum Merigan, Max Ojomoh, George Worboys and John Stewart have been included in the England U18s Development Camp taking place this month.

The Blue, Black and White finished the regular season with an impressive record of five wins from six in the Southern Conference. However, Bath missed out on a place in Sunday's final by just a point, with Gloucester securing a crucial bonus-point in their victory over Exeter Chiefs U18s. Bath will have the opportunity to finish on a high, as they travel to Allianz Park to face Wasps in the third place play-off.

Bath Rugby Academy Manager, Andy Rock said: “We are incredibly pleased for this group of players and we are proud of each and every one them. This England selection is recognition of their performances over a small snapshot of this current season, but we are lucky enough to have seen them all develop over a number of years and to have seen them grow as young men here at Bath.

“There are a number of other young players who are developing and performing well in our U18s and it is important to also recognise that. These selections are a result of the hard work and performances of our U18 group as a whole as well as of those individuals that are named. We have no doubt that the guys going into camp will do themselves and everybody else at Bath Rugby proud and we hope they enjoy themselves”.
