A total of seven Bath Rugby players were involved for England U18s and U20s over the weekend, as both sides picked up victories against Scotland.
Bath Rugby’s George Worboys, Xavier Hastings and Nahum Merigan started and John Stewart, Ewan Richards and Orlando Bailey were named amongst the replacements as England U18s defeated Scotland 36-21 at Billingham RUFC.
England took a 21-14 going into the break with tries from Jack Van Poortvliet, Tom Curtis and Sam Riley. Tom Roebuck crossed the whitewash twice in the second half and a try from Joe Browning secured the victory.
The U18s will be back in action next Sunday, as they face France at Cheshunt RFC, kick-off 14:00, before the Six Nations Festival in April.
The U18 Six Nations Festival, hosted by England, sees the England U18s face Wales on Saturday 13th April, followed by matches against Ireland on the Wednesday 17th April and France on Sunday 21st April.
Bath Rugby’s Tom de Glanville shone as England U20s ran away with an impressive 45-7 victory over Scotland U20s at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday Night.
de Glanville crossed the whitewash for England’s first score, slicing through the Scottish defence to help his side to a half-time lead of 12-7.
England stepped through the gears in the second half with five tries to secure a comprehensive win in Northampton. The third victory of the tournament sees England finish in third overall behind Champions Ireland and France in second place.
