Round 15: Bath Rugby score well in stats

8 March 2016

A number of Bath Rugby players rank highly in the latest Opta statistics for Round 15 of the Aviva Premiership.

In the Club's 25-17 bonus point win against London Irish at the Rec, Bath were able to cut loose and play some enterprising rugby - something which is reflected in the Opta stats.

Wing Matt Banahan made the third most metres of the round with 109; the Jersey man also scoring a brace of tries in the process. Not satisfied with making the third most metres, Banahan topped the most clean breaks with five.

Joint second in the clean breaks category were two of Banahan's teammates, Kyle Eastmond and Leroy Houston (the latter also a try-scorer against the Exiles).

Semesa Rokoduguni topped the defenders beaten, joining Saracens' Alex Goode in evading seven members of the opposition. Rokoduguni was followed closely by Eastmond (six).

Bath Rugby will next play at the Rec on Friday 18th March, when they face Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership. For tickets, click here
