Bath Rugby’s Christmas fixture against Worcester Warriors at the Recreation Ground has changed and will now be played on Sunday 27th December, kick-off 14.30.
This decision has been made as a result of there being no public transport running in or out of Bath on Boxing Day, and to ensure that all supporters are able to make the journey to the Rec.
Alex Cohen, Head of Operations at Bath Rugby, said: “We were made aware that not only would there be no trains or buses operating, but also that the Park and Ride services, which have run in previous years, would not be running. Therefore we decided that moving the fixture to the 27th December was the most viable option to make sure that the thousands of supporters of both teams – the large proportion of which use public transport – are still able to come to what will be an exciting game and a fantastic festive day at the Rec.”
Tickets for the game will be on sale for Season Ticket Holders on Monday 26th October, Premium Members on Wednesday 28th October, and on general sale on Monday 2nd November.
Tickets can be purchased via the Ticket Office online here, over the phone on 0844 448 1865, or in person at the Ticket Office.
