- Bath University -
Bath University return to the field at Red Bull Uni 7s as last year’s champions. They will be hard to beat, with key players back again this year, and are certainly ones to watch. The returning squad will be playing in their own personal version of the Bath Rugby hoops shirt design, bespoke to the University colours.

- Cardiff Metropolitan University -
Having taken the BUCS 2015 Vase title this year, Cardiff Met are the ones to watch this year. As one of the country’s finest sporting universities, Cardiff Met boast an excellent line-up of first-class players.

Dublin City University is a breeding ground for Irish talent - unsurprising given that it is based in the province of Leinster. Their first XV team compete in the top Irish college league.

Sevens champions in the British University league, Hartpury University is a famous rugby institution with strong ties to Gloucester Rugby. Instrumental in furthering the development of talented rugby players studying at Hartpury, we will see our own version of today’s West Country Challenge Cup derby when the Bath and Hartpury University teams clash.

University de Pau et du Pays de l’Ardour, to give it its full name, boasts a plethora of sports facilities at its home on the northern edge of the French Pyrenees. Players are at peak fitness throughout the year as they partake in all manner of sports, from skiing to swimming. Expect big things from this team

- CUS Padova -
The sporting arm of Padova’s famous university, CUS Padova are big hitters. The University has a strong tradition of producing world-class athletes. CUS will be hungry for the title of Red Bull Uni 7s Champions this year.

- Stirling University -
Since 2000, Stirling University have won the Scottish Championships three times. They also play on one of the most beautiful pitches in the United Kingdom: Monument Park, near the University’s golf course. They attend this year through invitation and are keen to make their mark on English soil.
