Several primary schools from across the city will today gather at Bath Rugby's Recreation Ground for a Grand Festival of sport.
The event represents the culmination of a six-week summer programme called the Bath Coaching Hub, a pioneering project which encourages sports skills and teamwork amongst B&NES school children.
Starting at midday, Tag Rugby, Kwik Cricket and a Flash Mob dance will all form part of the fun and games taking place at the Rec. Each school will have a designated area to which parents will be escorted via the Riverside entrance.
Teachers will also be nominating two children from their school for a small prize for outstanding effort.
The primary schools which have taken part in the Bath Coaching Hub are: Roundhill Primary, Combe Down, Widcombe Juniors, Oldfield Park Juniors, Bathwick St Mary's and St Andrew's.
