Richard de Carpentier revealed his pride of playing at the Rec in front of his family for the first time, but admits Bath Rugby's accuracy and discipline resulted in a frustrating defeat against Wasps.
The 31-year-old had his wife, son and father in the stands supporting him as he earned his home debut in Blue, Black and White following an impressive first appearance against Harlequins the week before.
"I actually love playing here," he said.
"To run out in Blue, Black and White was a real honour.
"My wife, son and old man were here and it was a real honour to play at an amazing stadium in front of the fans.
"We're disappointed we couldn't give the fans a good result. We appreciate their support and we'll only come back trying harder."
