Not only does February mark one month closer to Spring, it is also the month that brings us the Six Nations championship and Pancake Day! What’s not to love?
If you need a feel good watch, take a look at this Instagram video from @EnglandRugby celebrating the first cap for our Bath Rugby prop, Beno Obano. It’s an emotive piece and really special to see how much it means to the family behind the player.
There was not one but two Bath Rugby player debuts last weekend with Cameron Redpath landing his first cap for Scotland and also helping them to a famous victory at Twickenham against reigning champions, England. A great performance from the young centre to lift the Calcutta Cup!
But saving the best until last, for anyone who has followed the story of the young rugby player and Bath Rugby fan, Ryan, we bring positive news. After five months of treatment, CT scans, PET scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, chemo and nearly two months away from home having proton therapy at the Christie NHS, Ryan has completed his treatment. He rang the end of treatment bell on January 29th. We all want to wish him well for the next stages of his journey as he strives to get back on that pitch!
