Our Club flag flies at half-mast this evening as we share our tribute to Dave Egerton - a Bath Rugby legend, forever loved and dearly missed by us all.
Dave, a former Bath, England, and British & Irish Lions number eight was a talisman figure during the ’80s and ’90s, amassing 163 caps including five league and cup titles, respectively.
Tonight, shortly ahead of kick-off our big screen will show our heartfelt film featuring, John Hall, David Trick, Stuart Barnes, and Andrew Sheridan talking about their dear friend and teammate, Edgy.
As the film fades, the familiar opening trumpet melody of Jonny Cash’s classic, Ring of Fire will play and our team will enter the field.
We will then join together in a minute's applause to celebrate Dave for the special man he became to us all.
