Orlando Bailey has been awarded for the RPA’s April MVP as part of the association’s campaign called ’15 Under 23’.
The campaign has been introduced to highlight young players who standout each month in the Gallagher Premiership and has ran from October 2021 until April 2022, with the RPA nominating six players aged 23 and under who have shone for their side in all competitions and will culminate in creating the ultimate Under-23 XV of the Season.
Academy graduate Bailey has been one of the Blue, Black and White’s standout players this season and has featured heavily this season.
The 20-year-old was nominated for the Bath Rugby Supporters’ Player of the Season award whilst he was also recognised with a first senior contract in January.
Bailey’s impact on the senior stage and his development has seen him voted April MVP with teammate Max Ojomoh previously recognised as October’s MVP.
He will now be placed on the RPA long shortlist for the final ‘15 Under 23’ which will be selected by the RPA’s Players Board 2021/22 this month.
