Open Captain's Run held at the Recreation Ground

17 April 2012

Bath Rugby held their last Open Captain’s Run of the season last Thursday.  Rain held off and there was a good turnout to see the players training before they travelled up north to their away game tomorrow against Sale Sharks.

Jeremy Wilton, Bath Rugby’s Managing Director was on the pitch with players Dave Flatman and Lee Mears.  They talked the audience through the warm up and explained a variety of the drills.  It was a great opportunity for the supporters to learn a little more about being a professional rugby player.

Players were available for signings and the mobile shop and ‘Hunger Hut’ were open for business.

Just a reminder for those who are around on Saturday 21st – we have a free Family Fun Day going on at the Recreation Ground.  It opens at 11 am and there will be an appearance by PEPPA PIG our SPECIAL GUEST.  The event will also include Live Music, animals from Longleat, an Obstacle Course and many other things to entertain both adults and children.

Hope to see you there!
