The club are very pleased to confirm Somerset-based fine foods manufacturer, Mr Filbert’s, as an Official Supplier of Bath Rugby.
Filbert’s Fine Foods produce a wide range of high-quality, protein-rich, better-for-you snacks from their kitchens near Glastonbury.
Fuelled by their passion for working in partnership with other premium South West brands, Mr Filbert’s will supply the Bath Rugby team with matchday snacks for both home and away games. Their products will also be available to purchase from stadium bars inside The Rec.
Well-versed in working with elite sports teams, Mr Filbert’s have been an Official Supplier for Somerset County Cricket Club for a number of years; the opportunity to now partner with Bath Rugby extends their partnership further across Somerset to a wider sporting audience.
The new partnership will see Mr Filbert’s provide the Bath Rugby team with nutritious, high-protein snacks to fuel them on their away trips around the country.
Founder and Managing Director of Filbert’s Fine Foods, Mark Taylor, said of the blossoming partnership: “As an award-winning West Country manufacturer of gourmet snacks, we are dedicated to supporting the best the West of England has to offer in tourism, sport and hospitality.
“Bath Rugby, the club, players and members are true champions of the rugby world and, importantly, big fans of Mr Filbert’s snacks. It’s a perfect partnership we’re proud to be part of.”
Echoing these thoughts, Tom Giles, Head of Business Development at the club, said: “We’re very excited to have Mr Filbert’s on board for the 2023/24 season, and even more so for them to have a presence on Bath Rugby’s matchdays.
“Nutrition is a main focus of the rugby department, with our Physical Performance team being some of the best talent in the Premiership.
“For Mr Filbert’s to become an Official Supplier was a no-brainer for us, given it is a brand who pride themselves on high-protein, nutritious snacks.
“To be able to grow a partnership with a local, Somerset-based company is something we’re always keen on here at Bath Rugby and we’re very much looking forward to seeing how this partnership can develop.”
