Bath Rugby can confirm Mike Williams has joined Exeter Chiefs on a permanent deal until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Arriving at The Rec in 2019 from Leicester Tigers, the 31-year-old debuted for Bath in the Premiership Rugby Cup and has gone on to make 49 appearances in total for the club.
This season, Williams’ opportunities have been restricted due to injury, but he has continued to have a great influence on the playing group, and the club’s younger contingent.
Everyone at Bath Rugby would like to wish Mike, and his family, all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts in Blue, Black and White.
“Mikey has been brilliant around the club since I arrived,” Head of Rugby Johann van Graan said.
“He has been unfortunate with injury since the start of the season but has an opportunity of more game time whilst completing the season with Exeter.
“We wish him and his family the very best with the move.”
