Ojomoh nominated for RPA's MVP for October

3 November 2021

Max Ojomoh has been nominated for the RPA’s October MVP as part of the association’s brand-new campaign called ’15 Under 23’.

The campaign has been introduced to highlight young players who standout each month in the Gallagher Premiership.

It will run from October 2021 to April 2022, with the RPA nominating six players aged 23 and under who have shone for their side in all competitions and will culminate in creating the ultimate Under-23 XV of the Season.

Fans will then get the chance to vote for their most valuable player (MVP) of the Month in a week-long vote via the RPA’s official website.

The winners and all nominees will be put on the RPA long shortlist for the final “15 Under 23” which will be selected by the RPA’s Players Board 2021/22 next May.

Academy centre Ojomoh has been shortlisted alongside Leicester Tigers’ Nic Dolly, Ben Earl of Saracens, Harlequins back rower Jack Kenningham, Sale Sharks’ Raffi Quirke and Tommy Freeman of Northampton Saints.

The 21-year-old Bath midfielder has had a fantastic start to the season and in October he really showed his skillset. He played in all four games in the month, making 106 metres from 28 carries and was an instrumental cog in the Blue, Black and White’s attack, implementing the side’s offloading style.

To vote for Max, head to the RPA website. The voting closes on Wednesday 10 November with the winner announced a day later.
