Max Ojomoh crossed for his first senior try in Bath Rugby’s 20-13 defeat to Newcastle Falcons.
The Senior Academy centre was in fine form and was deservedly awarded the Pol Roger Performance of the Match for his display.
His mum and dad, Lisa and Steve, were in the crowd supporting him which he says put a little extra pressure on him to perform!
“I’ll take it and get it out the way!” Ojomoh said of his try.
“Personally, I love an assist but I’ll take those and it made it a tight game at the end but we couldn’t win which tough.”
On his parents and the crowd, he added: “I was looking for them! I had no idea they were up in the green seats. It was a bit of extra pressure; I hate playing in front of my dad because he’s my biggest critique and so am I! I’m relieved I put in a good performance.
