Josh McNally described the result against Saracens as one of his 'toughest afternoons' at the Rec.
The second row feels the squad need to be ruthless with each other and have honest conversations ahead of Harlequins in Round 6 of the Gallagher Premiership.
"Ultimately we let ourselves down," he said.
"It's probably one of the toughest afternoons I've had at the Rec. To walk round (after the game), try and speak to fans and see the disappointment in their faces... we've let ourselves down and let them down.
"This week we need to be a little more ruthless with each other, have conversations and fine tune where things went wrong. We can't sugarcoat anything; we have to look at each other, how we lead as a group and how the squad operate in the week."
