Louw named in the Barbarians side to face Ireland

28 May 2012

Bath Rugby back row, Francois Louw, has been named in the Barbarians starting line up to face Ireland at Kingsholm on Tuesday with Stephen Donald starting on the bench.

Irish international Mick O'Driscoll will captain the Barbarians against his countrymen at Kingsholm on Tuesday evening (kick off 7:45pm).
O'Driscoll skippers a side which features several players that the local Gloucester supporters will be pleased to see as Mike Tindall and Rory Lawson both start with Akapusi Qera named amongst the replacements.

Tindall will partner Damien Traille in a powerful midfield combination while Lawson links up at half back with Felipe Contepomi, who lines up not far from his old stamping ground at Bristol.

Also, coming into the starting line up as well as the above after the defeat by England on Sunday are Cedric Heymans, Sailosi Tagicakibau, Duncan Jones, Benoit August, Cornelius Van Zyl and a completely new back row of Mamuka Gorgodze, Francois Louw, Raphael Lakafia.
