Bath Rugby can confirm that loan deals have been agreed for some of its promising young players.
Fullback Darren Atkins, fly-half Adam Hastings and back row Zach Mercer are all dual-registered with National One side Hartpury RFC, and prop Jack Edmondson with Rosslyn Park.
Hooker Michael van Vuuren (loan) and lock Alex Humfrey (dual-registered) could feature for London Scottish this weekend in their British and Irish Cup clash with Blues Premiership Select having spent the later part of the week with the Green King IPA Championship side.
Stuart Hooper, Performance and Player Development Director, said: “The players who are dual-registered will spend the first part of the week with Bath, then go to their respective loan clubs to get all important game time, so they are still developing within the Club’s programme, but also getting the opportunity to put what they are learning into practice in a live game situation. The continued development of players is hugely important to the Club, and this is another way in which we can help them do that.”
The Club can also confirm that Liam Forsyth has returned to Wigan Warriors Rugby League side, and wishes him all the best for his career going forward.
