The sessions open to boys and girls aged from U13 to U18 offer participants the chance to be taught specific skills by members of the Bath first team squad. They will be sharing their world-class knowledge to help continue develop participants’ rugby skills.
April’s clinics proved to be hugely popular, with the likes of Francois Louw, Kahn Fotuali'i and Sam Underhill passing on their expertise to the next crop of talent. If you missed out, book on next week's skills clinic and learn from some of the best in the game.
The sessions taking place are:
Kicking with Freddie Burns, Rhys Priestland and Tom Homer*
Kicking is a vital part of the game used to gain points, relieve pressure and find space on the pitch. Participants will learn how to kick at goal, attack and defend kicks out of hand and execute drop kicks.
Scrum with Tom Dunn, Lucas Noguera and Nathan Charles*.
Scrums are an important aspect of rugby. This clinic will teach participants the correct scrummaging techniques to aid with strength and safety in the scrum.
