After rain stopped last week Bath Legends XI will attempt to get their cricketing season off to a winning start on Friday 31st July against Lansdown Cricket Club.
Gumshields will be swapped for bats and energy drinks replaced with cups of tea as Club players past and present pad up and walk out to the middle. The likes of Matt Banahan, Ross Batty, Henry Thomas, Matt Garvey, Andy Beattie, Matt Perry and Lee Mears will be donning their whites and wowing the crowds with their Twenty20 cricketing prowess.
Lansdown Cricket Club are putting on a host of activities to keep cricket fans of all ages entertained, and all proceeds from the evening will be going to Help For Heroes. Gates open at 14.30, with the first ball due at 18.00. Tickets are available on the gate.
