With the Bath Rugby Foundation team having reached the half-way (ish) stage of the infamously gruelling Deloitte Ride Across Britain, we thought we'd bring you another update from David Trick, and a selection of photos of the journey so far.
"Day Four: John O'Groats to Carlisle in four days, 436 miles and Scotland is no more than a painful memory.
"David Flatman somehow remains the life and soul of the trip. I've shared many a mile and just as many laughs with the big man. I don't think a single piece of his bike is original, it seems to get repaired at least three times every day (reminiscent of Trigger's broom for any 'Only Fools & Horses' fans!)
"At pit stop two today (71 miles in) I actually fell asleep leaning against a wall. I have never experienced anything as punishing as this challenge, but weirdly I'm enjoying it in a masochistic way.
"We're all looking forward to seeing the additional riders supporting the Foundation joining us at Ludlow on Friday and Wincanton on Saturday. It's 21.45, and I'm off to zzzzzz (for the second time today).
"Yours, battered and shattered, Tricky."
As you can tell, the cycle from John O'Groats to Land's End is both physically and mentally draining, and our brave team of cyclists are doing it all in aid of the Bath Rugby Foundation.
It's not too late for you to donate and make all their pain worth it! You can support the players' cycle challenge and The Bath Rugby Foundation by visiting, www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/heavyweights or www.justgiving.com/brf
