Bayliss grateful of Bath support following Scotland debut

30 November 2021

He promised and he delivered... Josh Bayliss featured on Geoff Twentyman's BBC Radio Bristol show The Scrum after making his international debut for Scotland.

It was something the Bath Rugby back rower had promised in the summer after speaking to Twentyman alongside Miles Reid ahead of the start of the campaign.

Bayliss earned his Scotland stripes off the bench against Australia, making a crucial turnover in the closing stages to see out the win over the Wallabies, and was in fine form from the start in a victory over Japan at Murrayfield.

The 24-year-old spoke of his pride of running out for his country - for whom he qualifies through his Aberdeen-born grandmother - as well as the feeling of receiving a host of supportive messages from teammates and staff at Bath Rugby.
