Bath Rugby’s international contingent were all in action over the weekend in the Autumn Internationals. With Joe Cokanasiga, Sam Underhill, Charlie Ewels and Francois Louw all running out for their respective countries, here’s how they got on...
England v Australia
Cokanasiga continued his strong start to his international career, as the winger helped England to an impressive 37-18 victory over Australia. The 21 year-old scored on his debut against Japan last weekend, and added to his tally crossing the whitewash for the second consecutive game.
Club teammate Underhill also put in a telling contribution with 12 tackles from the back row. Ewels made an appearance off the bench, replacing Courtney Lawes in the 77th minute, as England closed out their Autumn International campaign.
Wales v South Africa
Bath Rugby’s Francois Louw was in action for South Africa this weekend as they faced Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Louw came off the bench with 15 minutes to play, but it was the hosts who came out on top with an 20-11 victory to complete an Autumn clean sweep.
