International Round-Up: Bath duo involved in England win

Charlie Ewels and Will Stuart were involved as England bounced back from their opening round Six Nations defeat to nil Italy in Rome.

The duo were handed starts for the match at Stadio Olimpico with Eddie Jones’ side dominating up front in the 33-0 win.

Bath Rugby captain Ewels completed 80 minutes, helping England to 15 out of 17 line-out successes, while Stuart was replaced at half-time following a shift which saw his country race into a 21-0 half-time lead. 

Elsewhere in the tournament, Cameron Redpath came on for as a late replacement in Scotland’s defeat to Wales.

In the U20 Six Nations, back row Thompson Cowan earned his first Wales Under-20 start and helped his side to a bonus-point victory over Scotland.

Named at blindside flanker, he made 18 tackles and one turnover, making 17 metres from six carries. 

Hooker John Stewart also featured at Under-20 level, falling to a 6-0 loss to Italy with England.
