Bath Rugby, in association with Official Apparel Partner Canterbury of New Zealand Ltd, is offering supporters the amazing chance to help inspire this season’s Bath Rugby Charity Shirt design. The shirts will be worn by the first team in the final regular game of their 150th season against Leicester Tigers, in aid of Bath Rugby Foundation and Help for Heroes.
Two lucky supporters will be selected to develop the creative brief, alongside Title Partner Dyson, that Canterbury will then use to design the shirt.
They will also win a host of other prizes, including: a VIP weekend break in Bath for 6th/7th May and full hospitality at the Leicester game; a tour of Farleigh House, Bath Rugby’s elite training headquarters; and a special edition version of the shirt itself.
Chris Stephenson, CEO of Canterbury, said "It’s a privilege to be involved in this fundraising initiative and we are delighted that supporters will also have the chance to play such a big role. We’re excited about the prospect of combining our passion for creating the world’s best rugby apparel with the imagination of local rugby supporters to create something truly unique."
A further 10 winners will be chosen to win a signed edition of the one-off shirt, a tour of elite training headquarters, Farleigh House, and a ticket to the game against Leicester, and another 50 entrants will win a Bath Rugby Membership for the 2016/17 season.
This season, the limited edition shirts will be used to raise money for Bath Rugby Foundation and Help For Heroes, the Club’s National Charity Partner. The team will wear the shirts when they take on their age-old rivals Leicester at the Recreation Ground, after which they will be signed by the player and auctioned off in a variety of ways that gives all supporters the chance to own one.
Vicki Smith, Sales and Marketing Director at Bath Rugby, added: "This is a truly unique prize that is open to everyone, not just Bath Rugby supporters. We want people to have their say as to how this shirt will look, and I’m sure the final shirt, designed by world-renowned rugby apparel manufacturers Canterbury, will be a true representation of how they feel about the Club.”
To enter, supporters simply need to visit the competition entry page here and answer one question. The winners will then be drawn at random on 15th December 2015.
