Bath Rugby today confirm that Max Green suffered a fractured fibula during Friday’s Heineken Champions Cup fixture against Harlequins.
Max will have surgery today and will work with our Performance Department who will ensure he is given the best rehabilitation possible.
Director of Rugby, Stuart Hooper commented: “Max is a player who has worked incredibly hard and has consistently shown what he has got to offer in our environment here.
"We’re really disappointed for Max that this injury comes after what has been a frustrating period of time on the sidelines following his wrist injury in the Premiership Cup in September.
"What we do know, is that Max will attack his rehabilitation and will come back from this setback to his season ready to perform again at the levels that we know that he can.”
