Injury update - Max Green and Tom de Glanville

1 October 2019

Bath Rugby can today confirm, following consultation with a specialist, that Max Green will require surgery on the fractured arm he received early in the second half of Saturday’s game against Worcester Warriors.

We are also able to confirm that Tom de Glanville sustained an injury to his knee in the final moments of the same fixture. Tom will see a knee specialist in London on Monday to determine the appropriate next steps for his management and optimal recovery.

Stuart Hooper, commented: “Both Max and Tom have trained and performed incredibly strongly over the pre-season and these injuries, which are a result of impacts during play, will feel really disappointing for them especially so early on in the season. They will now focus on working as hard as they can with our Performance Department during their recoveries to come back as good or better in order to make an impact on our Premiership campaign.”
