Anthony Watson burst onto the scene this season for Bath Rugby, with his electric pace and quick-stepping feet leaving many defenders grasping for thin air. February saw him earn a call-up to the England Six Nations squad, and a possible trip to New Zealand this summer is also on the horizon.
"To experience everything that has happened this season at 20 is going to put me in great stead for the future hopefully, and I think all the boys at Bath are massively excited to see what happens. The move actually turned out better than I expected it would to start with and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
"I wouldn't say there was one particular moment when our season clicked as such, but winning the Aviva A League showed us the talent we have throughout the squad and that really pushed us on and made us want more. We love playing for this Club and I think that shows in the way we go about our business. The coaches have been great with us and they have really harboured a great ethic and bond within the team.
"I can't thank Nick Abendanon enough for his work with me this season. At the start of the season when he was out through injury he took the time to help me out, and he has been a great servant for Bath over the years. He is an awesome player and it is sad to see him go, but he has been instrumental in helping me progress this year.
"It was an honour to be nominated for a couple of awards at the end of the season. I guess it's nice to get some recognition but I don't read too much into it. Really, I think it's more recognition for the squad as a whole, you have to look at the forwards who have been immense this season and provided the platform for guys like us, and I know George would say the same. We can't go out there and do what we want to do without front foot ball. The accolades are nice but it's more of a team one for how we perform as a whole."
