Bath Rugby captain Stuart Hooper will lead the team out at the Recreation Ground tomorrow for the final instalment of the West Country Challenge Cup against Exeter Chiefs, kick-off 17.45.
Hooper is joined in the second row by Dave Attwood, with the front row comprised of Nick Auterac, Ross Batty and Henry Thomas. The back row sees the return of Matt Garvey on the blindside, Max Northcote-Green starts on the openside and Guy Mercer shifts to Number 8.
Chris Cook and Kyle Eastmond continue to pull the strings as the half-back pairing, as Ollie Devoto is partnered by Max Clark in the midfield. Matt Banahan reverts to the right wing, with Jeff Williams, who scored twice on his home debut last time out, on the left. Tom Homer completes the line-up at fullback.
Don’t forget to make a Tunnel of Noise for the players as they prepare to face the Chiefs in the Supporters’ Village from 16.30, before heading over to the Swift Half to hear Bath Rugby legend Danny Grewcock talk about his illustrious career in the first of our special 150th anniversary Legends Q&As. After the final whistle, head on over to the Clubhouse where we’ll be showing England v Uruguay (kick-off 20.00).
Please note, the Swift Half, Dyson Stand (East Stand) and Bath Ales Dark Side bars will all close 10 minutes before the start of the game, to allow supporters to take their seats in time for kick-off. This decision has been made in an attempt to minimise the disruption for supporters already in their seats, particularly in the Dyson Stand, in the early stages of the game.
