I’m sure each supporter has seen yesterday’s positive news regarding confirmation that the current lockdown will end on 2nd December, and that we will move back to a regional tiered system. Whilst we should all remain vigilant regarding the risk of infection and transmission, there was very encouraging news that a return to partial crowds will be permitted.
The degree to which we may be able to host crowds will depend on our regional tier, which will be confirmed on Thursday this week. The new rules allow for:
- Tier 1: Lower of 4,000 or 50% of stadium capacity and with social distancing measures in place
- Tier 2: Lower of 2,000 or 50% of stadium capacity and with social distancing measures in place
- Tier 3: No spectators, games played behind closed doors
We will know more over the next few days regarding our regional tier and we will provide a further update later this week.
Access to tickets via Club Memberships
Last week, Bath Rugby launched the 2020/21 Membership scheme which is the only way supporters can access matchday tickets throughout this season. The Adult and NextGen Club+ and Club memberships provide the only route back to the Rec, as well as additional benefits to bring you closer to the action than ever before. The Adult and NextGen Club+ membership is exclusively offered to 2019/20 Season Ticket Holders who will have priority access to 2020/21 ticket ballots, whereas Adult and NextGen Club membership is offered to all supporters who will access tickets on a first come first served basis, after the ballot has been completed.

We have already received queries based on those supporters who have already opted for a season ticket holiday choosing not to purchase the 2020/21 memberships. Please do not worry, this does not impact your ability to change your mind. If you would like to purchase a membership product given the recent news about return of spectators you are able to do so online.
