Last Wednesday, Bath Rugby hosted its annual Golf Day at Manor House, Castle Combe. The course had 21 teams competing for podium places, with a number of former and current representatives from the Club testing their skills off the tee.
Sponsored by Bath Rugby’s Official IT Partner Getronics, guests were treated to the company of the likes of Rhys Priestland, Chris Cook, Tabai Matson, Lee Mears and David Trick. Matt Banahan also popped in to pass on a few tips to those taking part.
Some high-quality golf was played within the scenic setting of the Cotswold parkland. It was clear once the final group had finished, that the day was to be dominated by Getronics, seeing off the challenge of Bath Rugby partners Novia, Royds Withy King, Ricoh, UBS, Jelf and Getronics.
Getronics Team 2 claimed top-spot after shooting an impressive -21. Each winner won a complimentary night stay at the luxurious 5 star spa hotel Lucknam Park. The runner-up prize, kindly donated by Arivon, went to RFS Builders, followed by Getronics Team 3 who won a driving experience with Mercedes.
A big thank you to all those who were a part of the day, a significant contribution was raised for the Club's charity, the Bath Rugby Foundation.
