Fourteen man Bath Rugby win at Welford Road

Andrew Higgins was the solitary try scorer on a dismal day in Leicester, but it was Bath's gritty resolve that caught the eye as, with fourteen men, they defended like Trojans.

Olly Barkley was successful with all three of his kicks at goal, whilst Ramerio Pez missed a golden opportunity at the death to win the game with a penalty attempt out wide.

"It was a gritty performance," said Head Coach John Connolly. "It is tough playing for three-quarters of the game two weeks in a row with fourteen men. However, there were some massive performances, and although it was not a pretty performance, we will take the points."

15 Perry, 14 Human, 13 Higgins, 12 Barkley (2p, 1c), 11 Danielli, 10 Catt (r Tindall), 9 Wood (sent off), 1 Flatman, 2 Humphreys (r Mears), 3 Bell (r Stevens), 4 Borthwick, 5 Fidler (r Grewcock), 6 Beattie, 7 Scaysbrook (r Martens), 8 Feaunati
