Kahn Fotuali’i is looking for Bath Rugby to bounce back this weekend, as the Blue, Black and White face Benetton Rugby in the European Rugby Champions Cup.
“We’re really eager (to bounce back) - we’ve had some stern words from the coaches and as a group of players too. All messages have been spot on and it’s time for us to put into action what we’ve been speaking about. We’re more than capable of doing that, so it’s all about executing it now on Saturday.”
“The focus this week has been on ball retention, being dominant in defence. It’s nothing new really, it’s about us players as a group executing what we’ve worked on during training and transferring that to the pitch.”
Bath will be represented by another strong travelling support in Treviso, and Fotuali’i is keen to repay that unwavering support with a strong second half of the season.
“Supporters turn up week in week out to get behind us and we’ve been up and down as squad. For us, it’s putting in those performances now for the supporters, and that’s not just this weekend, but right until the end of the season.”
