Five Bath Rugby players involved on the international stage this weekend

10 March 2022

Five Bath Rugby players will represent their country on the international stage this weekend.

Taulupe Faletau will once again line-up in a Wales jersey, continuing in the Number 8 slot for his 88th Welsh cap following a succession of strong appearances for club and country since returning from injury. Wales take on France on Friday night at the Principality Stadium.

Blue, Black and White captain Charlie Ewels, who impressed in England’s win over Wales last time out, is named in the second row for Ireland’s trip to Twickenham while Will Stuart is among the replacements for Eddie Jones’ side on Saturday.

Unfortunately Tom Cowan is injured and unavailable after back-to-back Wales Under-20s starts but John Stewart and Ewan Richards are named in England Under-20s starting XV to face Ireland Under-20s.

Hooker Stewart missed the last match with Wales Under-20s while Richards, who has starred for the Bath Rugby senior side of late, will make his sixth appearance at this level – his first this campaign.
